Yes, the Stars lost. I was there. I'm taking it about as well as a death in the family. I expect we lose tomorrow too, disappointment running freely across our lands....
But alas, there are soo many other things to say.....
After Dallas (# 2 W conf) lost to the Avs, Montreal (# 2 E conf), Ottawa (#1 Eas Conf), Calgary (#3 W Conf) and Detroit (#1 W Conf) ALL lose at home. Making Dallas not the exception, but pretty much the rule. That's 5 of the top 8 so far, with more game 2's to come tomorrow, one wonders if Rangers will take one from New Jersey. Oh and by the way, I almost forgot, #4 Nashville lost yesterday too.
This all being said, the Stars still played worse than all of them. 4 shots in the second period? Come on.... A whole season of great hockey gets washed away just like that. At least we have the Mavericks....
Mavs win!! 103 - 93
At times they looked to be standing still, but still manage to win by 10. It's just one game, and Gasol was aweful. Most importantly Dirk was the man, like he needed to be. Like he never was last year in the post-season.

oh the pessimist the loses by all teams that won the first games in the second game should be up lifting my dear dear friend. bye the way we did not go to the rangers game instead we are going go to game two and what section 314 so much fun later dude
