Springtime, for Dirk and big D....

Winter, for Duncan, and San Antonio....

The little Dallas Mavericks win a game 7 on the road in overtime. Despite more officiating that could make you lose your lunch real quick. That little foul on Devin Harris is OT? Give me a break. The Mavs were battling two different opponents at times.

Game 7 notes:

So many story lines...

-The Mavs got a little lucky. They did. No arguements here. But they put themselves in a position where a little luck could save them, not a miracle like in the past.

-Dirk is a stud. He's a basketball god. Where was this guy last year? What an absolute freaking stud.

-Tim Duncan is a stud. Credit him. No one has an answer for that guy.

-Diop played Duncan fabulous. In OT. With a broken frieking nose!! Talk about having some guts out there. A broken nose and Duncans elbows are not a good combination. Kudos to the Diop.

-The Jet. That guy is so clutch. He's so calm. I'd like to see Jason Terry and Sergei Zubov in a game of chicken. So calm, so collected. Awesome stuff.

-Manu Ginobili is to have a statue erected in his honor, with his hand on Dirks' hand, while the big German tied the game.

Thank you Manu. You Idiot.

-Josh Howard is going to have to show us what he's got against the Suns. The Spurs have the defensive resources to shutdown 2 out of 3, Dirk, Howard, or someone else, at a time. The Suns will only be able to pick one. They can pick Dirk if they want, but I bet we Josh Howard do some stuff this round.

-The Mavs finally have their game 7 against the Avalanche. The Stars have so many good playoff stories, it's great to see the Mavs finally living some of their own.
